Happy Chinese New Year Everyone! Gong Hai Fat Choi!

This year is the year of the piggy. Mama and Dada's year! I'm so happy for them. Also this year, Stitch get's to celebrate the year with us.

We will celebrating with lots of yummy food such as dumplings, fried rice, long life noodles, veggies and tons of meats to celebrate the upcoming year. The kids get little red envelopes with lucky money from the grandparents. Wearing red and gold colors are meant for good luck. If you would like good luck during your year, it is suggested to wear red every day of the year, if possible.

This is also the day we come together as a family and get share what we are thankful for in life. I am thankful that my mama is taking care of me with my hip surgery and that I have my little brother to play with from time to time.

We would like to wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year with great health, wealth, and love.

Oatmeal, Peanut Butter, Coconut Oil and Banana Dog Treats

Before the year ended I finished all the dog treats mama had made for me a couple of weeks ago. So she tried a new recipe but added a few things. Mama ran out of the baby oatmeal from the last batch. So she used regular Quaker oats and used the food processor to grind it finely. Anyways, we hope you enjoy making these treats as much as we did. Ingredients: 1 1/4 cup Oatmeal 1/4 cup peanut butter 3 tablespoon Coconut Oil 1 medium banana Directions: Grind up oatmeal. Place in large bowl, mix in banana, coconut oil, and peanut butter. Create small balls and and then flatten them with a spoon Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 15-20 minutes. When done, leave in oven to cool. This makes the treats firm up.

I'm a Pumpkin

Hi, I'm Jade, I'm a puppy. Well, I'm not really a puppy anymore at 5 years old, but I will always be my mama's puppy girl. I am a mix of Yorkie and Pomeranian. So every year, mama dresses me up for Halloween. This year I will be rotating one of my costumes to be a pumpkin again. It wasn't easy getting me to keep the pumpkin hat on but mama was able to get a photo of me in my costume before I decided to take it off my head. I loves taking walks and playing with my rope. We take weekend strolls around the neighborhood with my family. I have met several new dogs along the way. I am very friendly and playful pup. The Dog Walker Company Harness

Mama got me this new harness for our walks. It's so comfy and is not complicated to put on, like some harnesses. I just need to be calm when it is being placed on me when we go walking. The dog harness was bought from TJ Max in size small, since I am a tiny little girl. It's normally $12 online but we got it for $6.99. It is considered to be 'cute and in control'. Description : Durable Material Reflector Accents Easy-Clean Fabric Breathable Mesh Fabric Dual Steel Loop Attachments The harness has Velcro to wrap around my body and also a snap to secure it in place. I like that there is two loop attachments to hold onto my leash when I walk. When my humans tug on me, it doesn't hurt.
