Peanut Butter Pumpkin Oatmeal Treats

I love pumpkin and peanut butter. Two of my favorite things to eat. These were delicious!  Can't you tell by how I'm munching down on them? Good thing I don't have any brothers or sisters cause I definitely do not want to share these yummy treats. Mama says I should share. Might have to bring some for my fur friends during our friendgiving luncheon in a couple of weeks. I hope you enjoy mama's recipe down below. 



Peanut Butter Sweet Potato Treats

Ingredients:
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 3/4 cups blended old fashion oats
1 can of pureed pumpkin

 Directions: 
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the peanut butter and pumpkin. Then stir in the flour a 1/4 cup at at time until the dough is no longer sticky.
  3. Scoop out the mixture with a spoon and place them on a baking sheet. I made them into a medium size but you can make them smaller if you like. 
  4. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes. Let cool completely. Store in an airtight container or freeze for up to 3 months.

Before the year ended I finished all the dog treats mama had made for me a couple of weeks ago. So she tried a new recipe but added a few things. Mama ran out of the baby oatmeal from the last batch. So she used regular Quaker oats and used the food processor to grind it finely. Anyways, we hope you enjoy making these treats as much as we did.  Ingredients:  1 1/4 cup Oatmeal 1/4 cup peanut butter 3 tablespoon Coconut Oil 1 medium banana Directions:  Grind up oatmeal. Place in large bowl, mix in banana, coconut oil, and peanut butter.  Create small balls and and then flatten them with a spoon Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Bake for 15-20 minutes. When done, leave in oven to cool. This makes the treats firm up.

I'm a Pumpkin

Hi, I'm Jade, I'm a puppy. Well, I'm not really a puppy anymore at 5 years old, but I will always be my mama's puppy girl. I am a mix of Yorkie and Pomeranian.  So every year, mama dresses me up for Halloween. This year I will be rotating one of my costumes to be a pumpkin again. It wasn't easy getting me to keep the pumpkin hat on but mama was able to get a photo of me in my costume before I decided to take it off my head. I loves taking walks and playing with my rope. We take weekend strolls around the neighborhood with my family. I have met several new dogs along the way. I am very friendly and playful pup. If you give me food I will love you forever, what dog wouldn't?  I also spends time with my mama working out in the mornings. I would consider myself her  workout buddy that she can always depend on. The Dog Walker Company Harness

Mama got me this new harness for our walks. It's so comfy and is not complicated to put on, like some harnesses. I just need to be calm when it is being placed on me when we go walking. The dog harness was bought from TJ Max in size small, since I am a tiny little girl. It's normally $12 online but we got it for $6.99. It is considered to be 'cute and in control'. Description : Durable Material Reflector Accents Easy-Clean Fabric Breathable Mesh Fabric Dual Steel Loop Attachments  The harness has Velcro to wrap around my body and also a snap to secure it in place. I like that there is two loop attachments to hold onto my leash when I walk. When my humans tug on me, it doesn't hurt.
