in line for the parade On Saturday, December 1, 2018, mama and I volunteered to do the Laurel Holiday Parade in the cold and rainy weather, representing Pet's on Wheels as therapy dogs. It was our first time working a parade and we had a pawsome time. I met a new friend from the volunteer group, his name is Swiffer with his owner Sarah. We lined up behind the cheer leaders. There were about 6 groups of us walking the parade and there were people lined up during the route to wave at us. The police officers were really nice, stopping traffic for us to walk down the road. We walked from the Municipal Center to the Armory, I believe it was about a little over a mile walk. Great exercise for all of us! When we got to the Armory.
